recording calorie totals for strength training

To myfitnesspal guros,

First of all ... love the features on this website! However, since the overall premise of how this program works involves calories in and calories burned (through exercise) - it stands to reason that you should involve strength training in that formula. By only including calories burned through cardiovascular exercise, you have left off the LARGE factor of total calories burned through strength training. There is a basic formula using physics that you could include to factor in weight lifting to our calorie totals. Any chance this might be offered in the future?

    yeah id really like to know how many calories im burning on my bowflex..Any ideas?

    You have to get a HRM. It's sooooo helpful
