Anyone Fallowing GI Diet?

Is there anyone here fallowing the GI Diet? I have been interested in fallowing it to help with my PCOS. But I am having trouble find some information to questions that I have. Do I still have to make sure I do not go above the my calorie intake number? I know all foods are assigned a GI number; is there a number I should stay below each day when I add up all of the numbers I eat?
