From over-eating to forcing myself to eat...

Well I used to over-eat and that is where a lot of my weight was put on... these days I am finding myself less hungry and I am not able to eat anything close to the amount I could before. The past couple of days has been odd, I have not been hungry and I didn't eat anything until late last night and all that was most of a chicken salad sandwich and 16oz. orange juice. I exercised almost as much as I ate.

Today was the same... I did have a banana this morning and some coffee. At 16 oz turkey and mash potatoes lunch (awesome and only 400 calories!) from Fresh & Easy and a Diet Mt. Dew. I was stuffed and I have not been hungry since. After tracking all my exercise I was -95 on on my calorie count. I literally forced myself to stop at Wendy's and get a burger and frosty and some fresh cherries which brought daily daily total to 575 calories. But I could have easily went without...

If I am full from food and don't eat will I be setting myself up for starvation mode? It doesn't matter if I eat smaller amounts early on, I am full by late in the afternoon and I don't really want to. Should I force myself or just let it go?

Never thought I would be worried about not wanting to eat....

  • I had this problem too. Try eating things that aren't super filling but have good calories. Raw almonds are super good for you and high in calories (from "good" fat) and really high in protein. If you like avocado it's also an awesome source of cals and sooooo good for you. Use on a sandwich instead of condiments or put in salads (I just eat them by themselves) . Another good thing is Fiber One dark chocolate bars-satisfies chocolate cravings and the fiber is important. Peanut butter is good too. Definately try to get those calories up-never good to be at a minus in your calories at the end of the day...sad to say you'll probably end up gaining weight if you do that  .

    Good luck!
