    I was pleasantly surprised by my Wendy's lunch last week. I had a 5 piece chicken nuggets and a small chili, and the calorie count equaled roughly to what a Big Mac would be. Sodium was still high, but it was definitely a nice alternative!

    Even just going for smaller versions of what you'd normally eat is probably helpful. Cut out soda. Life happens, you will want/have to eat fast food so it's better to be armed with information and alternatives!

    I usually just always go with the salads when I eat out, trying to avoid creamy dressings.

    My friends and I like to go the diner, and I always order turkey burgers on wheat buns with lettuce, onion and ketchup. Eating only half for dinner and saving the rest for a lunch or dinner meal a day or two after is a great way to eat out without going overboard, I find.
