...in here 'cause I know there are many. Don't be shy. ;)

I was watching Glee one of these days and this happens:

So,I wonder how do you stop trying to please everyone or someone?
Many will say to just let it go and I agree but there are people you can just let it go. Think about those who mean the world to you: your kid, your parents, your husband/wife, etc. What if they can't accept you for the way you are, all mistakes and craziness? How do you stop trying and just let it go and enjoy the ride?

When it comes to weight loss, you gotta put yourself 1st. You gotta do it for yourself or else it just doesn't work.

I, for once, put myself on top of my priority list and lost 75 lbs! It's the best darn thing i've ever done! Sometimes it's ok to be selfish and to think about yourself. After all, it's for your own good ;)

I lost the same amount of weight (as NineInchGirl) and it was for myself too as well. Everythime I tried growin up and ppl would tell me I needed to lose weight I wasn't able to bc they told me I needed to. But once I got outta high school and started workin I didn't have to listen to anyone tryin to tell me I needed to lose weight. I was able to do it on my own.

However, I find myself more judgemental bout myself and uncomfortable bout myself then I ever have in my life. I hate the way my body looks now. I've been tryin to reshape my weightloss body for so long. It hurts and it feels like I gotta do it not just for myself to feel comfortable but also for everyone. To prove everyone else wrong!

my husband supports me in my jounry. at first it seemed he wanted me to lose weight because he was embarassed of me, not true. i struggled with weight loss because of that. now i am doing it for me. i have really developed a love for the gym. as far as the food that comes into my house 90% of it is related around my diet. i cook healthly and the rest of the family can eat it or fin for themselves. step daughter dont like eggs and son dont like beans and we all had eggs for breakfast and pinto beans are the plans for dinner tomorrow.

I think that the fact that I was the fat kid all through my school years actually gave me that attitude early on. Maybe it was a defense mechanism, but I took the position that "hey, if you can't get over the way I look and see what a smart, funny, talented person I am, then that's YOUR loss, and I'm not going to waste my time trying to please you."
