Struggling to meet 1200 calories. Help!

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if there are any example meals you eat? I'm really struggling to meet the 1200 mark. I usually average between 800-1000 calories a daily with 600 being burnt off with exercise and lately I've found a real plateau with my weight loss. I'm not sure whether to believe the whole 'starvation mode' thing, I've read a few articles which dismiss it and say starvation mode is more to do with the person where they get so hungry they just give in. Myself I've found I've not really been that hungry and I only get hungry at night but I don't eat after 8pm anyway.
Thanks

You don't have to eat more food, just eat food that is more calorie dense.
Eat nuts or seeds as a snack, switch from skim to 1% milk (or 1% to 2%) eat full fat versions of things (sour cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, salad dressings) Add olive oil to soups and sauces, add avocado to salads and sandwiches. Have a glass of juice instead of 1 glass of water.
Again you don't have to eat more food just make different food choices if you are having trouble eating enough calories0 -
I've struggled with meeting my calories requirements too. Lately, I've been eating healthy meals every two hours. I eat things like an ounce of almonds with and ounce of dried cranberries, low fat cottage cheese with a half a bag of baby carrots, Kellog's nutri grain bars...those kinds of things. However, I do find it difficult to eat the calories I've exercised. Good luck!0

Breakfast, breakfast, breakfast.
Make sure you eat a healthy (protein and fiber) breakfast, then schedule out your meals and snacks on your food diary in advance. Pack it and take it to work and keep on your eating schedule. You do need to eat. Food is your fuel.0
