Does anyone know the nutritional content for Blackened Tuna? I have a business lunch today and nothing on the menu seems low cal. They do have an appetizer for Blackened Tuna Bites that I am considering making my lunch. Hope it is filling. It is only made with spices. The restaurant also suggested a turkey burger with no bun and a side of veggies, but I'm sort of craving the blackened tuna since I rarely have it.

That's sounds really good. I thought it was the law if a person requested the nutritional value of a food the restaurant had to provide it. Did you check with them yet?

I would have the Pan Roasted Salmon and make sure the sauce is put on the side. I have no clue about the Blackened Tuna, but you have plenty of choices. Enjoy!

I would go for the blackened tuna. Alot of protein , and omega 3 too. Eat it with a salad or vegetable.
    Enjoy it !!

Blackened tuna is going to be high in protien great choice !

If you are looking for cals then really the main source is going to be dependent on the size of the piece of tuna and what you have with it.

I emailed the restaurant and they said since everything is made from scratch that they do not have nutritional content. They said the tuna bites would be a good choice and also the turkey burger with no bread and a side of veggies. Not sure I want to do a salad in addition to the tuna as the dressing has tons of calories.

I think only chain restaurants are required to have the nutritional content. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and in Philly chain and fast food restaurants must have the calories posted on the menu next to each item. Wis they would pass the same law for the the surrounding counties!

Blackened tuna sounds yummy but I bet the thai dipping sauce is a killer - Ask what is in it, and make sure you get it on the side! Have the tuna with a side mixed salad, or get the pan-roasted Salmon (as suggested above) - Healthy fats and a mustard based sauce, which is lower cal and very yummy. Or you could get the Blackened Mahi Mahi salad but ask that the pepperocini and pancetta be omited - it's got lots of fruit in it, but great protein and fat from the fish and egg. It won't be your healthiest meal but it would be a superb treat! Ohhh and the grilled fish tacos! Yum  Wow this menu looks great! Enjoy your lunch!
