Hey guys and girls,

A friend of mine said that you might be able to recommend a good HRM.

I've found this polar HRM that I like, but is it worth the money?

Any help is appreciated :D x

I got a new Timex and i really like it. It was $97 in the store, but Amazon.com was selling it for just under $60. It includes the watch and the chest strap.

This is the one I purchased:
Timex T5H881 Zone Trainer Digital Heart Rate Monitor

It got excellent reviews and I have enjoyed it so far. I like the fact that the face is smaller and doesn't get in the way when I do my workout. Good luck with the search!
  • I have an FT7 and like it. Although my father-in-law has one and is having problems woth the transmitter. He has had it a year and needs to change the battery so I can't say that he actually has a problem with it.

If you like the functions on the ft4 get it.

I find I don't need a ton of functions and that keeps cost down a bit. I also have a cyclocomputer that is a polar and it does everything I need as well.

    Thanks guys.
  • I have a Polar F6. I had another model previously, and lost it.The previous one lasted me 5 years till lost, although i had the batteries replaced. Polar has great customer service for that, imo, and couldn't wait till i got my new one. Imo- totally worth the money spent. It took alot of guesswork out. Hope this helps. Good luck.
  • Thanks guys!

I've ordered it. Hope it arrives quick!
