Ok, So I'm nearing the end of my 9th week of healthy eating and change. So far I have lost 29 pounds which is great. I'm trying not to get discouraged as my motivation is still high but I'm am quite bummed as to why I am suddenly at a stand still with my weightloss? My TOM just ended yesterday and I figured that I would definatetly drop a few pounds after and I did not, not even an ounce! I have been doing great with my eating and even stepping up my exercise. My calories for the day are between 1400-1600. Normally in the past I was able to drop at least 2-4lbs a weeks and no plateaus, at least not until I have hit the first 55 pounds! So I am wondering whats going on if I'm doing everything right? Why am I not dropping ? Is my body adjusting to the weightloss so far? I am not lifting weights so I'm not putting on muscle but I am doing about 30 minutes of cardio most days. I really want to succeed this time and don't want to fail. I just want to get past that 30 pound mark but going on almost 2 weeks and nothing! Please, anyone, have you experienced this same problem and what finally happened? I appreicate any and all feedback. I need you guys, bad right now to help me through this. I know I sound desperate, and I am. I have such a long way to go still and I want to keep it all moving if you know what I mean?! Please help?! Thanks so much and awaiting your responses.

Have you lost inches? Maybe you might have to step up your cardio workout? Review your meal plan - is their alot of sodium in there? have you been doin' your water intake per day?...0

Don't get discouraged. Everyone has plateaus or slow periods when losing weight. Try changing up your exercise routine. Just keep at it and don't worry about the scale. Someone earlier posted a good reminder for all of us ... this isn't about the number on the scale, this is about having a healthier lifestyle. As long as you stay the course, you will reach your destination.0

I'm not sure on the inches as I did not bother to measure myself in the beginning, big mistake I know. As for sodium, I don't eat much table salt and I believe my salt intake isn't too bad. My water is Ok as well, I drink a lot of crystal light. Are you saying do more than 30 minutes of cardio a day? I can barely get through the 30 minutes I do as it is...LOL I'm going to start the C25K here soon but still getting the nerve up to do it! Just don't understand why I have stalled! I wish my body could tell me.0

Hi, I can understand you probem and frustration. I lost 37 pounds and then all of a sudden not even an ounce for 2 weeks. I had been on my diet and exercise program for 16 weeks when this happened. I was exerciseing 1 hour per day and eating my calories required. I felt like with all the weight I need to lose I should be losing at least 1/2 pound. But on the third week when I weighed I lost 2 pounds and the week isnt over yet and already I have lost another 2 pounds. So dont give up. You know you are doing it because look how much you have lost already. I am proud of you. I got discouraged also and I know exactly how that feels. I tried eating more and that may be what got mine started back. Some people up their calories and some cut back about 100 calories and it worked for them. Just try it for a few days and see which works for you. I am sure you will see a difference it the scale soon. But remember no matter what that " crazy scale " says you are doing the right thing and will be alot healthier for it. Friend me if you wish. I will try to help you in any way I can.
