1200 calorie diet ideas - day 1

breakfast: 3 eggs with lean ham

snack, hard boiled egg w/ mayo if needed, salt, pepper. 1 medium orange.

lunch- spinach salad, 4 oz turkey breast, 2 tbs sweet onion vinaigrette dressing

snack - 1 cup pepper slices with dip

dinner - 1-1/2 cups black bean chili salad (black bean chili, garden salad, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, onions 1 tbs Italian dressing

total calories - 1205 (approx)

Maybe not a LONG TERM diet with all those eggs, but if you've got a goal in mind - it could help drop the weight and then a maintenance diet would look different.
