If you're anything like me, there are times when I get home from work and REALLY don't feel like doing a workout.
Well, I discovered a trick that usually works in making myself do it.![:D :D](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/lol.png)
I go ahead and plan out what I'm going to eat for the day, and try to make dinner something I really like and will want to eat. Inevitably, that puts me over my non-exercise allotment of calories for the day. And DO NOT put in anything for exercise until it's done!
That way, you get to look at a red number until you've done the workout and entered it! Or you have to alter your dinner plans. Or have a day where you go over your allotted calories. Your choice!
I've found for me that seeing that red number until I've worked out really gives me incentive - especially if i don't want cereal or something for dinner!

I'm usually good for breakfast and lunch, but I let dinner slide into the red just a little so I have to workout.0

I love evening workouts for that very reason. I eat dinner which puts me over my calories then I tweak my workout time just enough so I am always slightly under my calorie goal for the day. It's great!0
