Does anyone use Platypus water bottles?

I just saw these water bottles the last time that I was at REI. It's basically a soft plastic bottle (similar to the bladders from Camelbak backpacks) that you can roll up and store when it's empty.

Does anyone use this type of water bottle? What are your thoughts on it? I was looking at getting a different kind of water bottle to take with me on my snowshoe hikes. Most of the water bottles that I own are stainless steel and it gets a bit uncomfortable grabbing a cold metal bottle in the snow and cold. If anyone uses them, let me know what you think.
