Jumped off the wagon for 10 days

It is time to get back going. I moved to Texas from California 5 months ago. I have made several life style changes since being in Texas. I spend my morning quiet time with God and his word, I reduced how often I go out drinking (not hanging with my old buddies), watch what I eat, and spend at least an hour a day working out. This change allowed me successfully lose over 20 lbs and got under the 180 mark. I just took 10 days and traveled back to see my old friends. During that time, I ate too much food and drank too many beers, and exercised too little. When I got home, I was up to 184. Although gaining 4 lbs is an issue, I think I learned something more important than the 4 lbs. I realized that I really like the life style changes I have put into place over the 5 months. I can't wait to get home from work today and hit the gym. Shooting for 165, being able to run 5 miles, and do pullups.

I hear another MFP buddy say something the other day that I liked.....you may fall off the wagon and run beside it for a while but as long as you hop back on at some point is all that matters!
