SHBoss1673 covered the things I was going to say... also, if you're in good with the IT folks sometimes they'll hook you up with the unmonitored firewall/proxy... but I don't give away that information usually. I'm a jerk like that, plus I like my job.

Being an IT admin definitely has its privileges...

lol, that's sneaky. I'm not in the IT group anymore, I now run a Hosted Apps department which means I no longer have access to our web monitoring software or Firewall (which sucks). But regardless. Set up an openVPN server at home, and a client on your work computer, you get a fully encrypted VPN to home, and basically a private network between you and your home computer, just make sure you set up the "shaper" option or you'll suck up all the bandwidth in your company and your IT admins will flip out on you. Even if they catch you doing this, unless they are monitoring your screen (which is rare, too expensive and super high in bandwidth) they can't tell where you've been or that you've been doing anything wrong. All you have to say is that you wanted to transfer some sensitive files that you worked on from home and you wanted the connection encrypted. They can mumble all they want, but the encryption levels for open VPN are to strong for them to crack. But again, you browse from home via RDP, not over the vpn from work, that would defeat the purpose as IT could monitor your applications in the office even if you're using what would amount to a VPN proxy server (useless IMHO).

I don't think my work minds, I even told my boss about the site. She said she is going to keep it on all day so she can click the button every time she drinks water. I think I'll do the same as it's my downfall. :)
