Interval Training info

HI I just went to the weekly meeting for the challenge I am doing at my club. The topic was Fast and Efficient Interval workouts. They said you will actually increase your resting metabolism more and for a longer period of time by doing short periods of a high intensity alternating with lower intensity work out versus 60 minutes of moderate exercise (walking on treadmill slowly)

I like that they included a circuit work out to do with resistance bands - that's something that can be done anywhere anytime!

    This is what Chalene JOhnson preaches........love interval workouts. Her TURBOFIRE DVD is nothing but this.

    Yes yes yes! I love intervals. They're super efficient.
  • I love intervals!!!! Not only do they benefit my metabolism but they are great for short attention spans, like mine!! ;)

    HIIT workouts are extremely beneficial for metabolism and weight loss. I create my own based off of other workout programs.
