Intro and question

Hi. I'm in my second week with this program. My question is, why aren't strength training calories deducted from food intake for the day, like cardio is? If I spend 1/2 hour on lifting weights, I would think that should count as calories used, too.

    Because it is too hard to calculate general calories burned when everybody is using different weights and doing more or fewer repetitions. If you want those calories deducted, the best thing to do is buy a body bug or similar device to wear while you workout. You can also add the strength training in as cardio and it will give you an amount that may or may not be accurate.

    You can add them by typing strength under add cardiovascular. It enters calories based on time spent.

    I put mine in under cardio now just for that reason. It's frustrating, but it helps!
