Okay I have been so dang grumpy lately I know that it is due to TOM. However I am tired of "biting" those that are close to me "heads off" for no apparent reason other than being irritable. Do any of you know a NATURAL way to help with the hormonal changes? Thank you in advance.

I try to get enough sleep and some sun for at least 15-30mins a day. Not necessarily being under the sun but the glare is good enough. Sun has a lot of influence in a woman's body - that's what my doc said. And I have bad mood swings and I snap at people really quick when I don't have enough sleep or no decent sleep. Hope this helps. I have been there. I hate the guilty after-effect of nasty things I say.

you can get PMS tea too...it's literally called PMS tea from the health food store...I take evening primrose oil as well, helps with the cramps and being uncomfortable...I also find that deep breathing and relaxation meditation works...i know it sounds all hippy but google some deep breathing techniques and some yoga poses...it actually helps to center yourself...like i was just saying on another thread, I'm on my 4th different kind of birth control, and that's because I can't handle my PMS...each pills causes different reaction in me...so the evening primrose and deep breathing help me or else it's Prozac

St. John's Wort is supposed to be a natural mood raiser, you can find it at most pharmacies or health food stores. :)

I read some research that indicated that calcium can help with PMS issues. Weird, but true. I've also found that a daily D supplement (since it's winter) and a B complex can help immensely.

    Feel better!
