OMG I hope it lets up soon! That is aweful!
If you don't mind me asking why are people still driving around in this? Do they not have a choice?
Is there water in your homes?
I'm so sorry you are having to go through this! :frown:
We have had many flood threats and some big flood over the years...it's not fun!

There is not water in my home...but many many people have lost a lot. This has affected a huge part of the state. We had anywhere between 4 and 11 inches of rain fall within 12 hours. Flash flood is an understatement!! It was ridiculous. There were dams that broke in one area on a large lake causing a huge amount of flooding. In my area the water just came up so quickly with all of the water running off of all the fields we have around here into the rivers and creeks. I think some drivers just were making poor choices, however many of us got caught driving home from places (when we left it was just raining, by the time we went home it was flooded!) My road was fine at 11am and by 12:30 it was almost up to the door of my car. Thankfully lots of the flooding is going down in some areas. Tomorrow is supposed to be a sunny day, but then Monday and Tuesday its back to storms. UGH. :grumble:
