I'm a 50 yr old mom who homeschools so I'm around food all day! :ohwell: I've been using MFP for a couple weeks now and doing some regular exercise (Jillian Michaels DVDs) in the morning. I've got about 35 lbs to lose. When I was running during the summer I was doing okay and down about 10 lbs. After an injury, though, the weight came back. Hope that this time I can stick with it and keep the weight off.
I will say that logging in my food and seeing my remaining calories helps A LOT!!! Last night after dinner, I logged my food to see if I had any room for a cookie. Answer: nope! But it was easier to resist knowing that I need to keep that in check.
