I have been obessing over this one pound for a week and half, I'm driving myself and husband crazy over it. I'm one pound away from losing ten pounds, last night my husband got upset with me saying that he really would like to talk about something else other then losing this one pound. Followed by us not talking the rest of the night, anyone else have this problem and if so what did you do?

For me it's the weight in general. I think I may be OCD. LOL

You need to remember the real reason you're here. To be healthy and look good. Is that one pound going to make you look perfect? Nope. It;s a scale, and a number. If you work at it, it will happen. But there isn't a set date that it will magically come off, so until then why worry? If anything, stress is going to make you gain weight! Concentrate on something else. Set up some mini goals for yourelf, like pushing thru that last mile on the treadmill or the last 5 minutes in the gym or DVD. You don't lose pounds and inches at the same time. Celebrate inches lost, and the weight you've already lost!

The last time I tried to lose weight (using weight watchers), I obsessed over every single pound. The diet seriously took over my life. I got so frustrated with myself that I ended up quitting the program and gaining back the 15 lbs I had lost, plus some.

I think you need to take a step back and know that if you're following calories in and out guidelines set by MFP, that you will lose that 1 lb. It may not happen this week, or even next week, but it will happen. Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure most people will tell you that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
