Logging from a Pedometer

Hi. I am just wondering if anyone here logs exercise from a pedometer. I work as a resident assistant in a memory care unit and do a lot of walking. the pedometer i have does distance, calories (although not sure how accurate this can be because from the little i know about this, it is not calculated on METS). I usually put my pedometer on when i put my pants on for the day and stop using it when i put my pajamas on. I have been logging it as walking 2.0 mph and then filling in minutes based on the calories the pedometer says I burned...but thinking this might not be accurate. any ideas....?

I wish I had an answer because I was curious about that! I don't use one but when I saw house cleaning and mechanic and other things in the database it made me think about everyday walking!0
