You hanging out indoors too??? LOL!

I'm not a happy camper in this kind of heat. J.T. was feeling it too! There was a church picnic immediately following service this morning and we tried to stay and have some food and talk to people...but he was MISERABLE. Tired and wouldn't eat a bite because he was so hot. So we had to leave and head home! Oh well!

I did make it to the gym, which was nicely air-conditioned so I could sweat extra hard! :laugh: :laugh:

We have had horrible storms all weekend long and one is actually coming in right now.There have been twisters all around us so we got lucky that way I guess.We need some peace and quiet here but lately the only peace and quiet we get is the calm before the storm and then Watch out!!! My daughter was suppose to belly dance in the local fair yesterday but tornadoes and severe weather broke out so we headed out just when it started to down pour.:grumble:

So anyway it sounds like our weekends went about the same .....MISERABLE!!!:sad:

It is blazing here....hubby and I went out last night an bought a Roman shade to put over the window on the exterior door...Just to keep out the sun!

Still feeling like a hermit in VA...................:grumble:

I read that you lived in Oregon before. It's beautiful here today, sunny and about 70 degrees--perfect picnic weather. When I read about people having to go running in 90 degree weather at 7:30 in the morning, I feel so lucky to live in the beautiful (and mild) northwest. I know some people get tired of the rain here, but then again that's why it's so green!
