yesterday a store was having a grand opening and my boyfriend and I hadda kill time, so we went in and browsed, him being the typical guy goes pulls something off the shelf and no worries, but this was one of THOSE stores that I swear makes the clothes smaller to mess with womens heads, so I got miserable as all heck and really couldn't hide it. They make the styles deliberately for really skinny girls(the low rise the SSSSHHHHOOOORRRTTTT shorts and skirts) and lemme tell you it makes you feel sooo bad about yourself, so I am venting and bummin!!!! I am definately not saying I wanna be one of those size 00 girls but I just wanna be able to get the size I need(and now that its lower) with out feeling I am cramming myself into it and having to go up a size(eeeewwwwwww) Why do they do that to us?????

I avoid shopping at all costs! I always feel like I'm losing so much weight and looking good, then I go into the store and nothing fits. It just depresses me so badly and then I don't feel like I've made any progress. It seems like all clothing is made for those skinny girls. I've made a pact with myself that I won't go shopping again until I'm under 200, then surely something will fit a bit better. Only 25 more pounds!

I did have to break down and buy shorts at target cause it was near 90 degrees, but OF COURSE they were ubershort, so I got out of em and put on jeans, there is no point in me tugging at my clothes. I also live in a place where that sickly thin look is very in, blah blah blah. I like the idea of a pact with myself, thank you for posting that!!!!

Don't you feel like you have to have a flat butt to wear some of those things? I like my curvy body, and don't want to be a carpenter's dream! Especially some of the shorts now, I think they don't make them with enough fabric through the hind end.

Hmmm. Heroine chic. Yuck. I would rather be healthy, muscular, and fabulous than look like I need to go into rehab!

I agree be it drug or eating disorder rehab. I was in a rest in said shorts agonizxing mentally and a group of guys made some sorta nasy comment, a mean one I know they did cause on my way out I heard her and I turned around abruptly to see and they just glanced at me. I brushed it off like it was nothing...what else can I do. I also think a muscular curvy healthy look looks soooo much better!!!!
