Hey everybody, my name is MIke. I am 34, and started my weight loss on January 2nd (I was 304.8 lbs). I was introduced to My Fitness Pal a week ago, so it doesn't reflect my true weight loss which is sitting at 17.8 lbs in 24 days). Does anyone know how to go in and show a starting weight? I'm not doing anything special other than watching what I eat. I am trying to get into walking while on my lunch at work (I did a mile the other day in 15 m inutes) so not too bad. And I'm going to try "Insanity" but that seems crazy. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

Hi Mike, Welcome to MFP. To put in a start weight go to my home tab and on the LHS you'll see weigh in. Click on that and log your weight.0

Welcome Mike! Glad you found MFP - it's a great tool and a great community.
If you want to add your start weight, go to Check-In (off your home page) and click on edit entries. At the bottom of that page, you'll be able to add a new entry. It should let you back date your starting date and weight.

Again, welcome and good luck!0
