this is how i feel today after 10 days of irregular eating and 3 days of no stop bingeing. fat fat fat. not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow, i swear i gained 10 pounds in the last week. grr.

    I commend you for posting truthfully. A lot of people wouldn't have the guts to tell a world full of strangers what they eat every day - especially the binge days.

    I hope that you are fully recovered from the surgery... you had a tremendously long recovery.

    Have you started Weight Watchers yet? How do you like it?

    Now that you've had your 3 days of bingeing, make this week a binge-free week! If you did it for 10 days b/c of oral surgery, you can do it again FOR YOURSELF!! We're all on your side! :flowerforyou:

    Same feeling.

    Give it a few days! At least your body is recognizing it!

    First, you need to stop running yourself down and try to see yourself as you really are--a beautiful person with a lot of guts and a lot of friends! Often, we eat because we're not happy with ourselves, so we eat because we're depressed, which makes us feel even worse! So first, learn to love the person you are inside. You have a beautiful smile! Realize that you are already a great person!

    Also, you have taken the first step that many people never make and hat is to make the determination to lose weight.

    --Now, just work on developing that will power!

    --Don't buy the junk to bring into the house so you won't be so easily tempted.

    --Develop hobbies that will keep you busy and away from food--I see you like being outside, so get out there! Get away from temptations and get moving outside. Summer is here, so enjoy it.

    --When you feel like bingeing, jump on this board instead and seek support to avoid it. That's one reason we all here--to help!

    --it's hard when you're 'younger' to really buckle down and lose the weight. I know--I tried and failed many times. But now that I'm only a few years from 50, I soooo wish I had done this years ago. Realize that the sooner you can get your body healthy, the fewer medical problems you will have down the road. I could have avoided a lot of problems for myself if I had done what you're doing at your age!

    So hang in there! You know you can do it--we know you can do it! So just do it!!
