WOW A HR helped me and still helps me push harder. When you can see you might have 50 calories to go you will cont and do more, Push harder dig deeper. It has help me stay on track. Aim for trying to burn 500 calories in an hour while working out. That will mean your trying to burn 8-10 a min.

I love Mine and would be lost with out it

I have the Polar F6- LOVE it. I wear anytime I exercise. That little beep that let's me know that I'm below my target heart rate range makes me work harder to get back up there. I love being able to time out a walk and then look at the calories burned and realize how it's benefited me. I think mine has made me more accountable too. If I set a goal of a 90 minute walk, I won't stop until that watch says it's been 90 minutes. Then I can hardly wait to see how many calories it burned. I think it gives me a greater sense of accomplishment. Have fun!!

I have the FT7 and I love mine! Not only does it track the calories for each workout, but I just found out it has kept track of all my workouts since I got it in November and it was cool to see how many calories I've burned since I started, over 24,000! You're gonna love it and be hooked! You'll never workout without it:)
