I'm not sure if this exists, but does anyone know if there is a suggested amount of calories a person should burn during a work out? I know there is a suggested amount of exercise in minutes that a person should get during the week.

1000 calories a week reduces your risk of heart disease over being completely sedentary. 2000 calories a week is more of a minimum recommendation for weight loss, though. You can set your goal of 2000 (or more) and divide it by how many workouts you are doing that week to get calories per workout.0

I use to go to a personal trainer and she always had great advice and was full of knowledge! She recommended burning 500 calories a day (of cardio) whether it takes you 25 minutes of 90 minutes! Also, strength training 2-3 days a week is also very important!0
