The skies here are pitch black and it has dropped 10 degrees in a matter of minutes! I have a feeling it is gonna pour and the floodwater was just starting to go down......*gulp.

NO...this cannot happen!

    I'm just south of the storms...they haven't hit us yet....but i see the dark clouds coming. EEK! We need a break!!!:grumble:

    It was scary and off and on for a few hours....but we got by pretty unscathed. Water is a little deeper, but today is actually low 80's and brilliant sunshine. I think it was the uber scary sky that really creeped me out. Yikes!

    I'm thinking I might go invest in a nice pontoon boat to get around in....that or build an Ark if we get much more rain.

    We got poured on at my daughter's softball game. It was one of those times when you could HEAR it coming before it actually started raining on us. You should have seen all the parents! I didn't know we could move that fast! But, it was over pretty quick and then we finished the game. Nothing like what you had last night. The radar was looking really bad your way when I was leaving work. We really had nothing. In fact, when I got home (2 miles south of the ball diamonds), our ground was still dry. That heavy down pour completely missed us! Go figure.

    Beautiful day today though....
