Hi everyone!

I've actually been doing MFP for around 10 days now, but just wanted to pop by and say hi and introduce myself!

I'm 24 and from the Toronto area, where I completed my undergraduate degree before going off to Europe and then returning (this time to Northern Ontario) to do my education degree. I have just a few months left and I am so excited to be done with it! I lived in Europe from 2009-2010 and met my partner within a few weeks of getting off the plane, It's amazing how things like that happen. Anyways, I'm getting set to move back in 173 days, and why not go back "home" with a more health y body and mind. My boyfriend and I (from an ocean away) are leading healthier, more active lives (though he seems to "forget" that when it's convenient). Not only is it good for our bodies, but it constructively passes the time.

I do have a challenge in that I injured my ankle quite severely in November 2010. I was finally able to be active again in January, and it has been amazing. I frequently over-do it though and it puts me back a few days :S I'd love any assistance on learning more yoga asanas and flows that are mindful of this, as well as cardio that would be low risk for my ankle.

I am meat-free and have been for years. I struggle with my sweet tooth and over-eating, but I do enjoy clean eating, cooking and hate pre-packaged meals. I don't have access to a scale until February, but I've already noticed some fantastic little changes in my body since being active again at the beginning of the month and joining MFP!

Anyways, nice to be here!

    Thanks!

Well, I need reminding of my healthy aspirations! Bottom line, I eat too much sugar, too much salt, too much in general and need to exercise. That's why MFP is a great tool, I wish I joined earlier!

I love the android phone app. It really helps me keep track of my calories when I am away from home. Use the tools, they are great.
