I just wanted to say a quick Hello since i joined yesterday. I think this site is going to be very helpful for me. I think the food and exercise trackers are amazing and have already found myself holding back on eating something and upping my exercise to exceed my calorie input.
I have yo-yoed my whole life. When I was younger I weighed over 300lbs and was, with my 20-something metabolism, able to lose a substantial amount of weight. When i was 29 I lost 30lbs, finally getting me well under 200lbs, a place I was happy and comfortable, vowing to never be over 200 again!!
I kept that weight off for 3 years and in the last 3 the weight has crept back on. I'd go up then down, then up, then down. In the last year things got completely out of control. I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant, lost my job, had a miscarriage, and was out of work for 10 months. The depression and stress caused me to gain 20lbs. I'm with a wonderful man who loves me the way I am and can eat anything he wants so I developed some bad habits over the year too.
So here I sit at the heaviest I have been in years determined to be the lightest I've ever been. I am more than determined and now vow to get this under control. To make myself a priority. I have a cloest full of clothes that I would love to wear again and will wear again!
Best of luck to everyone on their journey, hopefully we can help each other along the way!
