 I was wondering how one might go about correcting "nutrition facts" that have been placed incorrectly into the data base??? Thanks

Thought there was a way to edit them but can't find out right now....

Anyway, you could just enter your new information yourself as a different item. That's what I normally do anyway.

Some of what is in the data base has been entered as someone's "personal" food item and maybe different than what you've got. If I do that, I usually check "don't share" with others (if it's an item that I modify for example, like meatloaf). It's always a good idea to check a food if it sounds off base.

If you're talking about editing something you put in you need to contact Mike and tell him what you did and what you want to do. If you're referring to something someone else put in the database then you should get an option to agree or disagree and then you can edit the contents with an explanation to Mike regarding what you changed and why.

Under the database....search for the item..and when the one comes up with the incorrect info, click on "edit" and make the changes. There is an area below to note what changes you made and why.

You have to click on the "nutritional info" and then where it asks "Is this correct?" click no, then the edit will appear.
