I've been designing a diet plan for me, not only to avoid wondering what am I going to cook/eat everyday, but also to have a control of the calories I'm eating. This day is what I call Tilapia day, check out the chart and you'll know why.
The time difference between my shakeology and breakfast is because that's the time I do my workout.

As you can see, my calorie goal for the day is 2400 a day, and after eating all of this, I can't eat anymore and I'm short by 855.5 calories.0

I love tilapia, tastes great, good source of protein and very low in calories. Yay to tilapia day  :happy:0

The info for your tilapias before or after cooking? How big of a portion? I'm on a 40-30-30 (or try to be) and want ideas for lean protein. Thinking Tilapias might add some variety to my diet.0

yay for tilapia day indeed sunshine79 lol
vero_1 the information is before cooking, but I don't use anything with extra calories when cooking it, that's why I kept it like that. I eat the filets that come in the box I buy. For protein I use chicken breast, tilapias and isopure whey protein 0 carbs shake.0 -

Not to ruin your food...but you know that tilapia is farm-raised and feeds on..fecal matter?
/ I used to eat it too until I found that out.

Add tilapias to this weekend's shopping list... Check!
Thank you for the idea! seems silly but for some reason as I get more and more cautious about my diet I start to forget all the variety of lean proteins out there!0 -
Tilapia eats poo if that is all there is left for them to eat. In the farm where they are grown, they usually are fed pellets made from fishmeal, grain, soybeans or other food products. In the wild, yes tilapia will eat just about anything edible that they can get in their mouth. But not in commercial farms.0

What's that cool data entry your using?0

lol takes more than that to ruin my delicious tilapia
Not to ruin your food...but you know most food, unless organic is made with chemicals for a variety of reasons, including make them grow faster, etc? That applies to animals and vegetables
So yeah, I would have to spend lots of money on organic stuff if I didn't want to eat all of that. So far my tilapia doesn't taste like fecal matter :drinker:0 -
I love tilapia!! I just started buying it to add variety to all of the the chicken I have been eating0
