i can't believe this i lost another 1.5 lbs with clothes on, 2 lbs w/o clothes. i still can't believe this so today when i go workout again, i want to reweigh myself. since i only weigh myself weekly, should i weigh myself again today? or is it too good to be true? what happens if the number changes?

note: i didn't loose anything last week

YYYYAAAAYYYYY you! accept it as a reward for all your hard work and stay off the scales, lol

It can really be hard to concentrate when the scale is calling you. So, I think you should go ahead but be wary. Your weight can naturally fluctuate day to day or even within the same day. Also, weighing yourself right after a work out could artifically change your weight if you don't drink enough water to compensate for what you have sweated out or if you drink more than you sweat. Do you normally weight yourself after workouts? Try to be consistent and weight yourself at the same point during the day to ensure that the numbers you are comparing reflect your actual progress.

Congrats on doing so well by the way!

It could be anything from water weight, to loss of glycogen from working out, to whether or not you went to the bathroom. The scale is pretty imprecise... your once a week plan is probably a better idea.

I weigh in every day, but more because its a constant motivator, not so much as an actual measurement of my progress.

i try to use the scale as a general estimate of my weight and not to worry if it is a pound or too in either direction. although i deff like it a whole lot more when its in the right direction
