I just joined this site to help get my weight loss plateau over. Anyway, ever since my early teens I've been overweight by about 50 lbs or so. In summer of 2006, I went from about 180 to 115 lbs in just 2 months, but unfortunately I lost it do to sadness over the loss of my grandmother. I soon gained, not all, but a good portion of the weight back. Over the last year I've been working on and off to lose weight, and have lost 20 lbs total. I ran at least 2 miles a day, 6 days a week until October last year when I hurt my ankle and was unable to get back into running and getting healthy. Now, with encouragement from friends and my boyfriend, I am again working toward my goal to tackle these last stubborn 15 lbs I need to lose! I'm tired of looking at pictures and wincing at what I see. Cannot wait to join you all!
