Optimum Heart Rate while Walk/Jogging Long Distance-Question

HI Everybody :-)
My heart rate monitor has me performing between 70% and and 90% of my maximum heart rate during long distance walk jogging. I usually go 6 to 12 miles and during most of the time period I'm at about 85% of my max heart rate. I use light weights and include an upper body work out during my walk-jog sessions.
Is this a good heart zone to be in? What is the best zone for max fat-calorie burn?
Any help is most appreciated-thanks!
