Hello! My name is Tonya. I have just found this site and I am already loving it. I have recently been on the Atkins diet since September and even though it has been helpful in losing 12 inches from my waist, I have been extremely unhappy with it. There are just too many foods that I love that I'm not allowed to have. I have found myself wanting to have a cheat day more and more because its just depressing to not enjoy food like I used to. So began my calorie counting journey...
I just started this week and it's been a bit of an adjustment from doing Atkins but I find myself being excited to eat breakfast in the morning instead of dreading another plate of eggs. My own personal goal is to lose enough weight to take a plane home to see my family for the first time in 5 years. I am determined and optimistic that I can do it by September.
