help when sick

help... my husband, daughter, and I have been fighting walking pneumonia for over a month. I was feeling better and getting back on track. I feel awful today and we all started another round of antibiotics... any tips for how to stay on track when you just feel blah?! thanks for letting me whine a little... :)

    I know exactly how you feel! I just got over a fever and tonsil infection and was completely out of it for this entire month!! All I did was take my antibiotics, lots of hot liquids for my throat as well as Vitamin C (500 mg) and Zinc (25 mg) per day. They tend to help boost the immune system. Also, if you're taking antibiotics, I highly suggest you eat lots of yogurt (my favorite is Oikos 0% Greek yogurt with mixed fruit) with live active cultures (acidophilus) as well as a probiotic supplement. Otherwise, just try to eat as healthy as you can and get plenty of rest!! I hope you feel better!!!

    big pots of healthy homemade soups and stews
    also try paring a bowl of that with a BIG, COLORFUL salad\\

    and tea with honey and lemon of coarse
    lots of oranges
