Newbie.. but not to weightloss.. :)

Hello! I'm Gemma, 26, from London. Been a yo-yo dieter since I gave birth to my first child almost 3 years ago.. Had two children 14 months apart and my weight spiralled from there. Was always moderately slim (135lbs) but before I knew it I was 230lbs and my health was suffering. My inspiration for my weightloss are my children - I want to be able to run around with them with ease and watch them grow without the fear of medical complications because of my weight. My New Year Resolution (like millions of others, I'm sure) was to lose weight. I hope to lose 90-100lbs in a year with my deadline being 31/12/2011. Currently I am 216lbs (14lb loss) and 4.5 weeks into my weightloss program. I am averaging a weightloss of 3lbs a week following a low-carb, low calorie & high protein diet. I allow myself a treat every now and then. :) Looking forward to sharing this experience with you all, and hopefully making a few friends along the way.
