This really helps me, I eat slower, enjoy food longer and over eat much less than I used to - especially pizza:-P

 Just what my parents used to tell us to do, and a timely reminder, thanks...:flowerforyou:
  • AND put your knife & fork down between mouthfuls... that really slows you down too :flowerforyou:

I do this. It takes me between 20 to 30 minutes to finish a meal sometimes because I'm chewing more and talking to my kids. I end up staying fuller longer.

An excellent tip. This goes hand in hand with not multitasking while you eat. Don't eat while you watch tv, or drive . . . Enjoy what you're eating -- really taste and savor it.
  • Great reminder there too! I love it -

I took this tip from my son who takes for ever to eat -now I am relaxed and enjoy meals and the time with the kids!
  • so true - it easy to relate food to activities like TV - or with other foods like tea with cookies!
