Happy Saturday, everyone! Here's what's in store for me today...

Doing my exercise and eating right. Just because it's Saturday it's not a cheat day! :) Then I've got a few errands to run, a hospital visit to make, then tonight I'm taking part in a Singer/Songwriter showcase that I'm very excited about.

Tomorrow, I won't be able to start the daily thread, as I'll be on the road before dawn. Maybe someone else can start it? :)

So....tell us about YOUR day!

House cleaning, taking my mom to pick up her new glasses, already did 20 minutes on Gazelle and made breakfast. Just a slow day for me.

Just back from a great workout at the gym. Now to do homework for 2 hours, then taking kids to visit my mom, cleaning house and shopping for healthy foods to restock my kitchen with!

Cleanin my apt and walkin to my bf's 2 miles away to have study time and a big lunch/dinner. Weekends aren't at "cheat" time for me either, but my exercise and meals are structured differently (2 main meals, more snacks, walking is main mode of exercise)

Good morning! Enjoy your singer/songwriter event! Sounds like fun!

It's supposed to hit 70 degrees here in Texas today! Soooo...my bike WILL see pavement. Some how, at least for a little bit. And don't get too jealous about our beautiful day; it's not going to last long. Temps start dropping tomorrow and we're looking at a winter storm by Tuesday. Icky!!

Other than that, I think I'll leave the house cleaning to cooler temps and clean the garage, prep the garden and trim the shrubs in the front yard.

Hope everyone has an awesome day!

Planning to burn some calories packing up the house today! That is my job all day, what a way to spend a snowy day in the mountains of PA! Hope I make some progress!

Started out good! Even though I slept in almost an hour and a half. Haha... that happens when you stay up waaay too late watching the Biggest Loser reruns (in my defense it's my first time watching the show). Got in a good 20 min. workout and now I'm checking MFP, eating a little B-fast and about to go to work until 6pm! Then I'm going to somehow squeeze in at least an hour of cardio so I don't miss my goal this week. It's gonna be a good day.... I hope!

Hope everyone has a motivating day!

Tidying up the house and heading out later for "Puttin' on the Pink"- a breast cancer awareness fundraiser at our local pub. Might be a bit of a challenge for me. I am sticking to lime+water for drinks, but the big special that they are donating all of the proceeds from is a steak dinner with a draft. Think I will have to just donate the cost of that and not sacrifice my calories. My scale showed only a .5 loss this week, but when I got on the scale this morning to peek, I was down almost 2 pounds from yesterday, which leads me to believe that one should not eat a salt beef Irish dinner the night before a weigh in....

I'm in a great mood today! :) Finally better from my stomach flu, so I'm looking forward to eating food again, and going to the gym. Haven't been there since Tuesday! Gonna do Week 6 Day 1 of Couch to 5k. Gonna do my EA Active Sports 2 Week 1 Day 4 of their 9 week program. Also going to follow along when my husband does his Week 1 Day 3 of the same. And all the SUPER fun stuff I've been neglecting like dishes and laundry and cat boxes.

All in all, I hope to burn off enough calories to enjoy a glass of mint wine at the end of the day. Soooo good. Tastes like a Mojito, but a kinder, gentler Mojito. One that doesn't kick you in the butt. Because my butt has had enough problems lately! :embarassed:
