Doctor called this morning and said my Magnesium is low and need to take a prescription for it. Does any one know what would cause it to be low and what foods I might be needing to include in my diet to keep it up?

  • There are several food you can eat that have magnesium to help get the levels up. Good sources are green vegetables, beans, nuts and seeds and unrefined grains. The centre of the green vegetables contain magnesium so it's good to eat foods like spinach. I know that some medication can stop magnesium from being absorbed into the body.
