Anyone ever done the Tough Mudder run??

I was just looking at their website and it sounds TOUGH but fun. I'm thinking about trying to make that my goal for the end of the season since the one in North TX is October 8. I'd love to hear from anyone who either has done it or knows someone who has...

    my husband did it and said it was a blast! Tough but FUN!

    I just heard of it in the past few days. The Pennsylvania one is very close to home. Maybe next year. This year I'll be thrilled with finishing the Warrior Dash. :smile:

    My husband has been pushing this on me to no end, and considering he is an ex-soldier and rugby player I find it quite a compliment that he thinks I can do it. However, everything on it seems like it would be very rewarding to get through EXCEPT FOR THOSE DAMN LIVE WIRES!!! I don't think getting through that section would make me feel any better about myself or my capabilities. I know that I won't like being shocked now, and I'm pretty sure I won't feel any better about it after getting through it. How do you feel about that part?
