Traithlons... (attempt)

So I've decided to compete in a sprint triahtlon in 4 weeks - (I've still lost no weight despite eating really carefully and exercising a lot so quite demotivated with that)

But anyway - the triathlon is motivating me to exercise / train at the moment - so we'll see how it goes.

I'm not wanting to buy a trisuit as this is the first one I've done - my friend told me i can just wear my bathers is this correct? Do I then wear it for all three legs? (will I look like an idiot?)

Does the treading water before starting the swim wear you out alot??


Given this is the first time I've ever done this I'd love some peoples advice / stories?
