So this weekend I have been staying at my parent's place while they are out of town, and this morning I needed a pair of jeans to borrow since I forgot mine at home...my mom (shes always been a "cool mom" in the clothes department pretty much 
is a size 6-8 and so I didnt have high hopes for jeans. I pulled out about five pairs and guess what??? all the size 8s went on, and most of them zipped!! they didnt "fit" per say...I mean I would never go out in jeans that tight around my butt, but they were on me anyway. I can not even remember a time that I could get into a zipped pair of 8s. I tried on some dress pants with a bit more stretch and they fit even better. I also found an awesome pair of black J Crew chinos in a size 6 that pulled on but were wayyy too tight and didnt zip, and those are going to be my goal pants. when they zip comfortable I will know its time to get a new wardrobe
yay for NSV!!! and yay for nice moms that share clothes when the wardrobe shifts can be super frustrating.
