so unmotivated!

I really don't know what is wrong with me at the moment, i just do not feel the motivation to get up and exercise...i do it, but purely because i have to, even though i used to love it

i have lost 37lbs(currently at 141) so far but i look at myself and think what is the point! i still look awful and nothing i'm doing seems to make my body look nicer!

the skin on my belly is just so loose, not saggy, just not tight, so i have a rounded out lil 'pooch' and i know cardio and toning exercises will help in the end...

i just don't seem to be able to get up the entheusiasm i need to really go for it.

maybe i need a change...i am about to start over again on 30day shred, but does anyone else have any ideas for fun/great workouts i can try in hopes of building some entheusiasm???

    I don't know how old you are or if you've had children or not, but sometimes even with the weight loss we will never have that little hard body we once had. Some have the ability to get that shape back others have to get rid of the fat and then have surgery to fix the rest. I've had 3 children. Two of which were c-sections. I already know my tummy isn't going to get super tight and I've accepted that. It took a while though for me to stop fantisizing about my younger youthful body. My expectation was that I was going to get back into my little bikini....reality...probably not unless I op for the tummy tuck.

    Its time for a reality check. If your stomach doesn't get tighter on its own are you just going to give up on being healthy?

    Yeah, start over on the 30 day shred. Wow you went from 178 to 141!!! That's a MAJOR accomplishment! Did you take pix of yourself at 178? and now at 141? Take pix now, restart your program! And if you have to get a dvd that just focuses on ABS, I did do abs exercises alone in the past and even though I am not doing them now they help me to this day.

    Sometimes when I look in the mirror with my shirt off (I'm a guy) I get that same feeling that I've lost 65 lbs and still don't look good with my shirt off. I still have just under 10 lbs to go to reach my initial goal of 190 lbs. I'm thinking now that to look really good, another 10 to 15 lbs will probably have to go. Regardless of the looks thing, my health and energy are extremely better than they were last June when I started eating healthy and exercising. At 51, or any age, being healthy for my family is motivating enough for me.
