Balancing act?

I just checked my "Nutrition Report" and noticed, that after all of my exercising (treadmill 2x/day) , I'm not reaching my daily caloric goal for most days. Could this be why I seem to be losing so slowly?
THANKS!

That could be it! Try eating some more healthy calories and see if you start noticing more progress.0

Here's some good threads about why it's a good idea to try to reach daily goals:

I think it could depend on how new exercise is to you as well. If you have gone from being sedentary to working out twice per day, your body is going to be building muscle, which weighs more than fat, and also retaining extra water and nutrients to protect your muscles.
I would recommend eating more healthy calories if you are hungry as well; I just wanted to throw another train of thought out there!! I know that whenever I start a more intense workout regimen I generally don't see results on the scale for a month or so, but I can feel the difference in my clothes.
Just don't get discouraged, weight loss is tricky -- hang in there! Great job on working out twice a day -- I wish I had that kind of motivation.0 -
To "flipipino"- Thanks so much for your reply! I'm not new to exercise- I'm just returning after a few months of being super lazy! I don't know how long I'll be able to keep up my 2x/day workout regimen but we'll see! On workdays I only can manage to get in a couple of short treadmill sessions and I"m splitting it up as per some advice I've gotten here.
Thanks so much for your encouragement! I can be patient and will try not to get frustrated!
To "ladyhawk"- thanks for the threads! I'm going to check them out now!0
