I know this is crazy, but when I got home from work last night I changed my clothes because I had to go out. I put on my favorite pair of capri's that I love and at first I was somewhat sad because I couldn't wear them. They were too big and falling down. It took me a few minutes to finally get happy about it. I worked so hard to get to this happy place, but at the same time I wasn't so happy. I should have been jumping up and down with joy. Am I wierd or what? Now that it sunk in I am very happy.

  • I feel the same way about a pair of jeans that I LOVE..... they fall off my hips now... and even a belt won't keep them up.

I felt the same way when I first started losing, but I found myself an excellent seamstress that has helped me do some alterations. Now I can still wear my favorite clothes, and it's a lot cheaper than buying new.
  • Congratulations! I think it is great when the clothes don't fit you anymore. All the more reason to be happy and then go shopping! Have a great day!

I will definitely have to go shopping now because I'm going on vacation in about 2 weeks and I don't have a thing to wear.

    Hi

It really is an odd feeling
I was also surprised when I lost the weight and my clothes were too big that I wasn't elated
I was happy but also had weird mixed emotions

Great job and try to enjoy :)
