have you taken measurements? If you are spending time at the gym, especially doing some weights, you are probably still losing inches. You may be close to your goal, and if so, its just harder the closer you get, but if you know you are doing all the right things, then by all means, you just have to find satisfaction in that and move on.

I looked at your food diary. The first thing I noticed is you have alot of days you did not fully complete your diary and the days you actually did your sodium was double what it should be. Im the guessing the days you didnt complete you had the same issue. My suggestion would be that you should always fisnish your food logging everyday and get under 2500 mg od sodium and increase your water. I think if your ohnest with yourself and what you are eating you will answer your own question. Good job up to this point and take this for what its worth I struggled at your age too and dont let it affect you to 40. Keep trying but be ohnest with your food log and you will see patterns.

    Hi there !

First, congrats on the 30 pounds lost ! It's amazing !

Now that you lost 30 pounds, the last 10-20 pounds will get harder and harder to loose. First advice : eat a healthy breakfast to kick start your metabolism. Skipping breakfast is no good, some say it's actually the most important meal a day and they might not be wrong at all. Even if it's just a whole wheat slice of bread with a piece of low fat cheese, it will do perfectly.

Second... although you might be within your allowed calorie range, IMHO, you will need to make healthier food choice. Ramen, Taco Bell, Hamburgers.... not very good, its full of all the bad stuff that keeps you stagnant. You can have a look on MFP, people
have shared amazing low fat, low cal, low sodium yummy recipes.

But for sure you will need to take it up a notch and the fast food will have to go... at least most of the days if you want to loose the extra weight.

    Good luck :flowerforyou:

Ok, let me sound like your mother for a minute here. I looked at your food diary. :noway: I see you are still a teen, so I don't expect you to be eating the most healthy diet on Earth, but really! If you want to lose the rest of that weight, learn what fruits and vegetables are!

Enough of being a mom. Seriously though, Your sodium is far too high, so your body is having trouble shedding water properly. You need to be drinking AT LEAST 6-8 glasses of WATER, not pop, not juice, not even milk, but water, each day to help balance the sodium. You also need to make at least one meal a day fresh foods, not packaged and not restaurant. Try some oatmeal and a piece of fruit for breakfast, or frozen vegetables and a chicken breast for dinner. Even if you continue to eat quite a bit of the packaged and fast foods, if you add some fruits and veggies in to replace even 10% of calories, you'll see a difference. Your body can't produce lean muscle from crappy foods. You need some quality nutrients and probably a few less calories each day if you want to see real body changes.

I am a mother of a 21 year-old son, and daughters 19 and 16, so I know it is not easy to hear this, but if you learn to eat right now (and to cook well) you will never regret having done it, and you will be more attractive to whomever it is you would like to attract. Who doesn't love a person who can put a delicious, low calorie, nutrient dense meal on the table?

Small changes. Try adding fruit to each day for a week. Then add some vegetables to each day. Then improve the quality of the protein your are eating, and lastly, change to whole grains. All the while increase your water intake and decrease your sodium and you will reach your goal by summer.

Best of luck! And give my regards to your Mom.

I agree with PP. Like I've told you before you need to fix your diet. Don't expect to loose weight when you eat like you do and just because your a teen doesn't mean you can't eat healthy! Everyone on here will tell you the same things and if you don't want to listen and take there advice then theres nothing we can do to help you! Good luck! :D

Tonight I made a dinner from a bag of Steamfresh rice and veggies, a can of tomatoes, frozen shrimp and cut up spinach. No "cooking" necessary. Nice, nutritious dinner for under 300 calories, though the sodium was a little high.
Another no-cooking meal, frozen mixed veggies and a bag of Viola or other frozen meal, mixed and only eat 1/3 to 1/2 of the total. I bet you can fry eggs (in cooking spray of course), or heat up a Healthy Choice meal instead of Ramen or chicken nuggets. It's about making choices, and your current choices aren't going to let you lose the rest of the weight.

There is no excuse for not learning some simple cooking, and there is no shortage of great recipes on the internet. Do you want this, or do you want to whine about how you tried and failed?
