Hey there, I'm new here. Been dieting/exercising for about a week now, looking to lose 50-60 pounds by November. I'm looking to add songs to my Ipod to keep me pumped up when I'm at the gym. Anyone have any good songs that seem to keep them moving faster and longer? Thanks.

Anything by Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, or Ke$ha!

    Muse
    The Bravery
    The Strokes
    Tron Soundtrack
    Daft Punk
    Asian Kung-fu Generation
    Bloc Party

Upbeat stuff that about matches my running rhythm. Or at least doesn't put me to sleep.

I think there was another thread on this a week or two ago you might search for it.

My favorites include Black Eyed Peas songs, and lately I have been listening to Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine. Such a fun upbeat tune!

I use Pandora...that way it switches it up so much and I can change stations if something comes on that I don't like :)

Right now, my top 5 are"

    More by Usher
    Sleazy by Kesha
Hold it Against Me by Britney Spears
Telephone (Passion Pit Remix) by Lady Gaga and Beyonce
    Money Honey by Lady Gaga

These really keep my pumped and motivated to push just a little harder when I'm working out!!
  • I like Lady Gaga because the beat is good for treadmill, bike or elliptical. Some others are the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, AC/DC, Guns and Roses, CCR or really anything you can think of with a good solid tempo. I like to control my speed with the music. I have really upbeat songs mixed in with slower ones so I can mix it up while I am on a machine. I hope this helps.

That's Not My Name by the Ting Tings has a great beat for the Elliptical or running on the treadmill.

I haven't used my workout playlist in so long I'm not sure what else is on there.
