Hey there! I am currently reading the book The Four Hour Body by Timothy Ferriss and am really considering trying his way of eating for a little while. For those not familiar, it consists of eating the same meals over and over from a small list of foods for 6 days and then going crazy on the 7th, eating whatever you want (which sounds great ;)) On the 6 controlled days you eat a protein, beans or lentils and a vegetable from the list at each of 4 meals (I think), spaced 4 hrs apart. Nothing white, no sugar on these days. Just curious if anyone has tried this??? I have been primal for 6 months and have been at a bit of a standstill for a month or so now. Thinkin' I might shake things up a bit and try this. Thanks for your input either way!

Sounds like a gimmick to me. Try switching up your exercise routine, or let yourself eat whatever for a few days, then go back to what you were doing. Sometimes the body needs a "shock" to get going again.

It seems like they are telling you what you should be doing eating lean protien, healthy fat, veggies...but limiting veggies and what not is never a good idea
